Career

After a rather unpleasant, but useful (according to him, at least) experience in Black, he debuted in the box office flop Saawariya, playing a homeless tramp named Raj, who falls in love with a mysterious woman. For his role as the hansome Raj, Ranbir won the Filmfare award for the Best Male Debut. not half bad for a first-timer, who hated acting school.

After his first movie, Ranbir starred in several other romance films, such as Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008) and Wake Up Sid (2009), for which he won the Filmfare Critics award for Best Actor as well as a nomination for the Filmfare award for Best Actor.

Ranbir Kapoor’s strong film liner-up ensured made him one of the top actors in Bollywood, which, predictably attracted tabloid attention.

Affairs

He is currently unmarried, but had a string oof girlfriends over his illustrious carrer. His first, was Nandita Mahtani, an renowned fashion designer, who designs for Bollywood stars. She owns a high end fashion brand called Anayana, with shops in Nottinghill, London’s poshest district. Kapoor’s second love of his life was Deepika Padukone, an actoress and model, who starred in Bollywood films such as Happy New Year (2014) and the newly released Hollywood blockbuster xXx: Return of Sander Cage (2016), which also stars Vin Diesel. Ranbin’s final sweetheart is Katrina Kaif, a model and actress, whose filmography includes films like Fitoor (2015), Jagga Jasoos (currently filming, set to release in 2017). Sadly, they appear to have separated as of late 2016.

Ranbir kapoor, however, does not seem to give up when it comes to potential suitors. He has recently been spotted with another actress. This time it’s the beautiful Shruti Hassan, whose acting career began when her film director father gave her a guest starring role in the film Hey Ram (2000).
