Early Life:
When he was only a child, Arjun Kapoor had the ambition of becoming a director. He was suffering from obesity during his childhood. After finishing his studies, he began to work out in the gym and thus lost a significant amount of weight. He is a good friend of Varun Dhawan who actually met him at an acting academy. However his dream of becoming a director was fulfilled later on. At present he is in the acting world and he is doing reasonably well. Salman Khan happens to be his mentor.
When he first entered the film industry his age was only 18 years and his role was that of an assistant director in the motion picture “Kal Ho Na Ho” which was released in 2003. In the year 2005, he was an associate producer in the film “No Entry”. In 2007 he worked as an assistant director in “Salaam-E-Ishq”. He also enjoyed the role of a co-producer in the super hit film “Wanted” in 2009. In the year 2010, he co-produced the movie of Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor – “Milenge Milenge”.
Career:
In 2011 he was going to make his acting debut in “Virus Diwan”. However, it was not to be and Arjun finally made his acting debut in “Ishaqzaade” which is actually a romantic movie and was produced by the noted film producer Aditya Chopra. This particular film was released in the year 2012 on May 11. While acting in this film he starred with Parineeti Chopra. His next movie named “Aurangzeb” was released in 2013 on May 17. The actor performed in a double role along with reputed actors such as Sashaa Agha, Rishi Kapoor, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. This movie made him hugely popular.
After that he acted in the movie “Gunday” along with Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra. Aditya Chopra was the producer of this movie and Ali Abbas Zafar was the director. Following this motion picture, Arjun Kapoor had a major role in the movie “2 States” which was directed by Imtiaz Ali. Alia Bhatt happened to be his female lead. At present he is acting in a movie named “Half Girlfriend” which released in 2017.
